Meet the Singing Barrel Train Driver
One of the biggest compliments we received last fall from guests visiting the farm for our festival and pumpkin patch was the quality of our team members, and how many of them helped families have such a positive experience for their day of farm fresh family fun.
Our main goals with Rocker 7 Farm Patch continue to be to educate our community on Arizona agriculture and create a fun, family farm experience for all ages.
Many parents let us know that the Singing Barrel Train Driver helped their kiddos have a lot of fun on their short ride, and really added to their overall farm experience. Well, our Singing Barrel Train Driver – the man behind all the music – was none other than Josh Troub, a senior at Buckeye Union High School, and a valuable team member at Rocker 7 Farm Patch.
Josh really took the “farm guest experience” idea into his own hands, and crafted a barrel train ride his young passengers would not soon forget. We couldn’t be more proud to have Josh (and his entire family!) on our team for our first season, and we sure hope more barrel train singing is in the future for all of us.
Last week, Brody caught up with Josh and they had a nice chat about last year’s fall festival, if more singing is in store for 2015, and just some general farm talk.
We hope you enjoy this behind-the-farm-scenes look with one of our team members.
In case you missed seeing Josh in action on the farm last fall, we have a little taste of that for you too:
So, does anyone have any song requests for next year’s barrel train rides?
