Join the FarmPatch Team

That’s right, we’re looking for a couple of “top hands” around here for the fall season!

Sales Supervisor

Will oversee all sales/money-handling areas of the farm. Attention to and input on sales display areas warranted. Will share responsibility for training sales area on register usage. Needs to be available at opening and closing for register dispersal and cash counting, as well as busy times and periodic check-ins and cash collections throughout the day.

Concessions Manager

Will help develop concessions offerings and menu for the season and setup/clean kitchen area/prepare for inspections. Responsible for acquiring necessary inventory and supplies (Farm Patch Sams Club membership included, which has business options for ordering online and curbside pickup). Weekly stock checks will need to be performed and needed inventory/supplies acquired. Required to setup and cleanup station each day OR properly train opening/closing staff to suitably do so.

Grounds Supervisor

Will work closely with Brandon and Katie prior to opening to ensure grounds are properly setup and prepared for the season. Responsible for monitoring conditions such as:  bees/wildlife, maze paths, ride paths, trash pickup, overall appearance and cleanliness, traffic and parking flow, etc. Responsible for managing setup/cleanup each day OR properly training and checking in with someone designated to do so.

Attraction Manager

Responsible for maintaining attraction areas in appearance, proper performance and safety, as well as ensuring any volunteers or paid staff are properly trained for their attraction areas (including ride operators). Will need to check-in/coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator to ensure all attraction areas are properly staffed.

Volunteer Coordinator

Will work closely with Katie to acquire and schedule volunteers, and will oversee volunteer force and communication. Will assist in planning and performing volunteer orientation prior to opening. Will need to perform routine check-ins (can even be by phone) to ensure all stations are properly staffed, particularly near shift change times.

Ride Operator

Due to sensitive nature of operating “rides” (hayride and barrel train), these will remain hired, trained positions. Operators must possess a valid drivers license and be available for training and “dry runs” prior to opening. Previous experience has preferential consideration in shift placement. Shifts will be run at a maximum of four hours to reduce driver burnout.

Sales Staff

Based on volunteers acquired, additional hiring for sales/money transfer areas may be necessary to cover all shifts.

Looking to test your skills as a farmhand? Have some free time in the month of October?

Join our team!

There really are all kinds of opportunities available at Rocker 7 Farm Patch. And the best part? They are all helping people have fun on the farm!

There’s a list of volunteer opportunity areas below, along with some simple, but important, expectations we have for Rocker 7 Farm Patch Team Members. There will be a mandatory orientation prior to opening, date and time TBA.

Volunteer service areas:

Concessions – Help us serve up the farm fare in the kitchen! Some help with cleanup may be requested.

Guest interaction and safety – Stationed at game areas, the maze path, jumping pillow, playground and other “attraction areas” to ensure guest safety and encourage their participation in all activities. These volunteers should simply be ready and willing to help families enjoy their day.

Agriculture education – Stationed in the petting zoo, education barn and field areas to talk with guests about Arizona agriculture. These volunteers should have some basic knowledge of agriculture.

Setup/Cleanup – Have some manpower (or womanpower) to spare? Help us open up or tear down for the day with opening and closing time shifts, or work a “grounds crew” shift helping to keep the farm clean and in working order throughout the day.

  • Volunteers will be provided a Rocker 7 Farm Patch Team shirt and drinking water. They must arrive for their shift in the Farm Patch Team shirt and closed-toe shoes (for safety reasons). Volunteers should be punctual for every shift, courteous to every guest, and diligent in their duties to ensure each guest has a safe, fun visit to the farm. Farm Patch Team Members are expected to serve with integrity and care – for the farm, guests and other team members.
